The Greatest Dustin Hoffman Roles Throughout The Years
In my opinion, and the opinions of the majority of movie fans, one of the greats actors of all time is, without a doubt, Dustin Hoffman. Ever since his breakout role in 1967′s The Graduate, Hoffman has been one of the biggest stars in Hollywood.
While everyone has their own favorites, this article will list my top 5 favorite Dustin Hoffman movies.
The first movie I will mention is one of his first films, and that of course, The Graduate. Not only was this a great movie, but the incredibly appropriate song “Mrs. Robinson” by Simon and Garfunkel was featured in this iconic film.
One movie that starred Dustin Hoffman which I absolutely loved was Runaway Jury. I normally do not like films regarding judicial subject manner, but this is just a great film. This movie also stars Racheil Weisz, Gene Hackman and John Cusack.
If you are going to make a list of Hoffman films, one movie that must be mentioned is Rain Man. If there was ever a role deserving of the Academy Award for Best Actor In A Leading Role, it was the role of Charlie Babbit in Rain Man.
One movie that is fun for the whole family and happens to star Dustin Hoffman is Hook. This Peter Pan adaptation was directed by the legendary Steven Spielberg and stars Robin Williams as Peter Pan.
I would be remiss to make a list of Dustin Hoffman movies and not include probably his most memorable film, Kramer Vs. Kramer. Hoffman stars as a single father who must fight the court for custody of his son and it came as no surprise that he won the Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for this one.
Hopefully there are one or more films on this list of Dustin Hoffman films which you have yet to see.
